A scene from the underrated 20th Century Fox epic film "The Egyptian" (1954), directed by Michael Curtiz, produced by Darryl F. Zanuck and music by Bernard Herrmann and Alfred Nyman.

The movie is based on a classic historical novel "Sinuhe egyptiläinen" by Finnish writer Mika Waltari. The book is so grand that hopes for the film were perhaps too high, so the film got bad rewievs. But when you look at it with fresh eyes now, it really is an enjoyable movie.
