The Memphis Hustle overcame a 15-point deficit and defeated the Iowa Wolves, 111-103, on Wednesday night at the Landers Center.

Memphis (3-7) and Iowa (6-4) went back-and-forth all game with 16 lead changes and 10 score ties, including six ties and six lead changes in the final quarter.

Santi Aldama, who scored a game-high 28, put the Hustle up for good with a turnaround fadeaway with 1:12 left in the game. Aldama’s basket came after McKinley Wright’s deep three that tied the game for the final time at 103-all. Wright IV had another chance to even the score on the next possession, but his floater was off the mark. Shaq Buchanan put the game out of reach with an and-one as the Wolves failed to score again. Buchanan scored 24 points in the victory.

Brian Bowen II led Iowa with 26 points while Wright had 22 points. Brandon Sampson chipped in 16 points off the bench while Chris Walker added a season-high 11. Vincent Edwards was the other double-figure scorer with 10.
