Degassing and defoaming of liquids is required for many processes. Often air gets mixed into oils, hydraulic fluids coatings. If the liquid is recirculated, these air bubbles can cause problems. Ultrasonication removes small suspended gas-bubbles from the liquid and reduces the level of dissolved gas below the natural equilibrium level.
