This Mexican Lager I made is BETTER THAN MODELO

Its summer which means its LAGER SEASON! Time to brew up a dark mexican lager, kind of like Modelo Negra, but better!

DARK MEX LAGER RECIPE
Recipe for 5 gals (18.9L):
-7.28 gals (~27.5L) Water
______________________
~11.3 LBS [5.1 KG] of Grains
-9% Flaked Maize
-71% Pilsner
-18% Vienna
-2% Chocolate Malt*

*i would at least double or triple this if you want accurate color

Protein Rest @132F (55C) for 20 mins
Mash @ 149ºF (67ºC) for about 60 mins

3 Limes worth of zest and juice in keg or end of boil, add more if you like it extra citrusy!
