'sampling' is a series of murals created by City-As-School in partnership with Children’s Museum of the Arts. The works draw from imagery from The New York Public Library’s Picture Collection to celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, echoing the musical tradition of sampling through the visual tradition of collage.

The exhibition is on view in the windows of The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space located at 44 Charlton Street, NYC.
