Syedna Tahir Saifuddin Sahib was the 51th Dai-Ul-Mutliq of the Dawoodi Bohra Muslims.Just like his predecessors,he also worked tirelessly for the upliftment of the Dawoodi Bohra community in many ways.He established various secular and religious institutions and played an important role in the restoration of Fatimid Era buildings.Although he played a passive role in politics ,yet he contributed a large sum in donations to the newly established , Pakistan.At the same time he donated his famous Saifee Vella to the Indian government.
