Just a heart that refuses to stay silent while others are suffering.

Some have said I’m “misleading a generation” by inspiring youth to pursue medicine.
And I understand where that comes from — in Ethiopia, many health professionals feel overlooked, underpaid, and overwhelmed.

But I believe that dreams are not measured by income — they’re measured by impact.

Since the day I graduated, I’ve crossed deserts, walked miles, and ridden motorbikes into places most have forgotten — just to reach one more patient, one more mother, one more child.
No one told me to go. No one funded me.
I go because I care.

That’s how READIO Ethiopia began — not with funding, but with faith.
A dream in the dust. A mission born from young volunteer doctors giving from their own pockets to serve those with nothing.

This video captures a small part of that story: riding alone into remote areas — only God beside me — just to serve those most in need.

Because for me, being a medical doctor isn’t a job.
It’s who I am. It’s my purpose. It’s the reason I wake up every morning.

To the next generation:
You’re not wrong for dreaming big.
You’re not lost.
You’re called.
