Nashville guitarist Bill Cooley performs his own arrangement of the Scottish traditional classic "The Parting Glass", on a newly arrived Sam Guidry SG2 Cutaway crafted of Brazilian rosewood and Italian spruce.

The luthier is a well-loved teacher at the Galloup School, where along with Bryan he's helping shape the future of modern lutherie. The flawless fit and finish and unique, colorful rosette may first attract you, but the tone and playability are where it really shines. Brazilian rosewood + Italian spruce = full spectrum tone, with clarity and articulation, and just enough warm, woody midrange and body to keep it from sounding overly scooped out and hollow.
