Well... almost all gear is max level. After purchasing every limited-quantity vendor item in the game, apparently I came up a single Greenshine Fragment short and was unable to level up my final weapon. Super frustrating. My advice here is if you're going for a "perfect" file without utilizing New Game Plus, make sure you skip purchasing at least a couple of items that cost Greenshine Fragments until you're certain you have all of your weapon upgrades finished.

I demonstrate my difficulty to the best of my ability. You can only tell it's Ultra Hard because there is no difficulty option in the settings menu. I then go to the vendor to show that he's not selling any New Game Plus equipment to show it's a true Ultra Hard New Game file.

I stop for a second to point out the Whisper Hunter Bow, my only weapon that isn't max level.

After I go through the armors, I take a second to call out something weird. The Tenakth Marshal and Sobeck's Raiment appear to be in the wrong categories. Tenakth Marshal clearly has Rare stats and levels, while Sobeck's Raiment clearly has Very Rare stats and levels, and yet they are defined vice versa. I don't know if this is a recent issue because most online resources seem to claim they're flipped, or if something happened in my save file that just swapped their data partially.

For Weaves, however, I want to show all of the +2 level Weaves, since they're unlocked from gear and have vast applications, so I walk through all of the Very Rare and Rare ones.

I point this out to show that I'm a Greenshine Fragment short, but the game now lists it as "Unknown Site", so it won't give me any hint as to where to go. It's possible there's still a Greenshine Fragment out there somewhere, but at this point I'm assuming the game is just one short. Very frustrating, I'll have to finish this off on New Game Plus.

Just trying to demonstrate I've cleared the map to the best of my ability. As far as I can tell the game will not let you clear the rest of the fog on the Zenith Base island. Once again, very frustrating. It feels like this game is designed to wear on you if you're a completionist.

And with that, my Ultra Hard New Game experience is finished. I'll be moving on to New Game Plus now, but unless I find something particularly noteworthy, this is likely the end of my Horizon: Forbidden West video series.
