Esox Diaries | The Hunt for a Leviathan | Episode: VI | Loch Lomond, Fad & Venachar | Pike Fishing

Episode VI of Esox Diaries, and the hunt for a Leviathan continues. Previous years have been mostly kind to us on the Pike angling front, but Winter 22/23 has, so far, had other ideas and we’re yet to truly see what Pike fishing in Scotland has to offer. A long run of limited results has seen our dedication to the cause well tested, and as confidence and motivation diminishes, the want to finally get to grips with that big fish becomes ever-more prominent on our ever-growing wish list.

As mother nature throws a conveyor belt of continuously changeable and challenging weather conditions in our face, thoughts inevitably turn to whether or not a close encounter with a Leviathan will ever become an entry in our Esox Diaries. We have determination on our side, but will that be enough?
