Bata is not an Indian company, but still for the last 90 years, Bata has made Indians feel that it is an Indian company. And this is the secret of their success. Actually, in the year 1920, the founder of BATA, Tomas Bata, analyzed that most of the Indians walk barefoot in summer. Due to which their feet burn in the heat, and due to injury they get diseases like tetanus. That's why bata targeted these 2 social messages in his ads. In which his first tagline was, appealing to people to wear shoes, spreading the pleasant coolness in summer and secondly spreading the awareness of tetnus. And used the Indian face only in most of his ads. Not only this, Bata also kept the design and price of his shoes according to India. Guys Bata's strategy was very simple, like country, dress like that, and because of this strategy, bata became an Indian brand in the minds of Indians.

Bata कोई indian company है ही नहीं, पर फिर भी पिछले 90 सालों से bata ने indians को ये feel करवाया, कि वो एक indian company है। और यही उनके success का राज है। दरसअल साल 1920 में bata के founder Tomas Bata ने, ये Analysis किया, कि ज्यादातर indians गर्मियों में नंगे पैर चलते हैं। जिसके कारण गर्मी में उनके पैर जलते हैं,और चोट की वजह से उन्हें tetnus जैसे बीमारी हो जाती है। इसलिए bata ने अपनी ads में इन्ही 2 Social message को target किया। जिसमे उनकी पहली tagline थी, गर्मी में सुखद शीतलता और दूसरे में tetnus की awareness फैलाते हुए, लोगों से जूते पहनने की appeal की। और अपने ज्यादातर ads में indian face को ही इस्तेमाल किया। इतना ही नहीं bata ने अपने जूतों का design और Price भी india के according ही रखा। guys bata की strategy बहुत ही simple थी, कि जैसा देश, वैसा वेश,और इसी strategy के वजह से, indians के mind में bata एक indian brand बन गया।
