It was a gloomy and rainy day, but we wanted to take one of our day trips to the Adirondacks so we went to the town of Ticonderoga on Lake Champlain. It is about 50 miles from us. We live in a very historic area with regard to the revolutionary war. Fort Ticonderoga was a key location in the battles. Most of the things are still closed because of the winter schedule. Many things open in a week or two so we will go back to some of them. We will go to the museum that talks about local history and the pencil industry. We will go to the fort and hopefully catch a reenactment since it is the 250th anniversary of the revolutionary war. And we will go to the Star Trek attraction. We also might go back to the cute diner. We went to today.
