Trip to Secretariat Park and Claiborne Farm Tour (July 2024)

This was a trip that was a long time in the making. Since Secretariat won the Triple Crown in 1973, I have been a big fan of his. Since he passed away in 1989, I have hoped to one day visit Claiborne Farm and see his final resting place. The timing was right and I recently made the trip to Paris, Kentucky, to visit the Secretariat Park and Claiborne Farm. I must admit that I shed a tear or two at both places.

I had the feeling you get when you finally meet your favorite sports figure. I only wish I had taken the time to visit him before he passed away. He will always be in my heart and will always be loved by his fans.

Rest in Peace Big Red, you are one of a kind! You touched my heart and soul, and I Thank You.
