Underground | City of the Sun | TEDxMidAtlantic

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. City of the Sun performs "Underground" live at TEDxMidAtlantic.

City of the Sun was created in 2010, in the subways, streets, and local bars of New York City. They began as “buskers,” or street performers, and their driving rhythms and fluid melodies immediately caught the attention of New York locals. Describing City’s sound can be a bit of a challenge—words never seem to give it justice. It is distinctly eclectic—a mélange of flamenco, blues, and indie/folk rock.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
