Tesla opened its first shop in Urumuqi, Xinjiang

On December 31, Tesla announced the opening of the first Tesla Center in Xinjiang. This is a sign of Tesla's official deployment of offline stores and service points in Xinjiang. Urumqi Tesla Center not only provides a comprehensive service for local consumers, but also continues to spread the concept of energy conservation and environmental protection in the Northwest region.

The first Tesla Center was opened in Xinjiang, making it easy to buy a car. The newly opened Tesla Center in Urumqi is Tesla's first store in Xinjiang, and it is also its 11th store in the Northwest region. As of now, there are 211 Tesla centers across the country, covering 60 cities in mainland China.

The store is located at 1725 Zhenxing East Road, Midong District, Urumqi, which is the largest automobile city in Xinjiang. The Tesla Center covers an area of 1,620 square meters and can provide consumers in Urumqi and the surrounding areas with pre-sale inquiries, test drive appointments, new car inspections, insurance inquiries, licensing procedures, after-sales maintenance, and other related services.

The first Tesla Center was opened in Xinjiang, making it easy to buy a car. It is understood that Tesla has currently built 2 super charging stations and 14 super charging piles in Urumqi. Across Xinjiang, Tesla has built a total of 7 super charging stations, 36 super charging piles, 6 destination charging stations and 12 destination charging piles, which can well guarantee the driving and charging experience of car owners. At present, the number of new energy vehicles in Xinjiang is about 50,000, and the demand for charging piles will not be as tight as in other regions.

In addition, Tesla will also complete the national section of the "Silk Road" charging line by the end of 2020, starting from Xi'an to Urumqi, covering 2,600 kilometers, with 11 Tesla super charging stations on the way. In June this year, the super charging station in Khorgos, Xinjiang was officially opened. In August, Tesla's "Great Northwest Ring Line" charging line was also unlocked.

Tesla's charging network layout in the northwest region is still quite fast and complete, which can provide a better charging experience for car owners traveling to Xinjiang, and local residents can better use low-carbon and energy-saving electric vehicles to reduce carbon emissions Pollution to the air environment. With the further improvement of the charging infrastructure and the opening of the Tesla Center in Urumqi, there should be more and more people buying and using Tesla cars.

However, the Xinjiang region is in a low temperature environment for a long time in a year, and the use of electric vehicles may be subject to major restrictions, such as reduced battery life and difficulty in charging.
