The delivery of substance use interventions for young people in rural Australia

Описание к видео The delivery of substance use interventions for young people in rural Australia

About this webinar:
Young people in rural Australia are more likely than urban young people to experience substance use harms. These harms are compounded by limited access to effective healthcare services. This seminar discussed the work undertaken in Dr Nicole Snowdon's thesis on determining the best-evidenced interventions and how rural healthcare services can optimise the delivery of psycho-social interventions to reduce problematic substance use among young people.

About the speaker:

As an AASW-qualified social worker and seasoned qualitative researcher, she is deeply committed to advancing translational research in mental health and substance use services. 3. Translating Cognitive Remediation Therapy: Bridging the gap between cognitive remediation techniques and practical mental health applications.

Dr Snowdon’s work is dedicated to translating research insights into practical solutions that improve mental health outcomes and service delivery in underserved areas.
