The Top Hatters were an early 1950s rock and roll quartet that recorded primarily on Cadence. The group consisted of members Chet Sondinsky, Pat Vassello, Blazie Pollack, and Carmen Falconieri. This Eddie Curtis composition was Ray Charles first hit for Atlantic records, and peaked at #5 on the Billboard R&B singles chart. The Top Hatters recorded and released this song sometime in 1954.
