We're in Tenerife today for a 4k walking tour through Costa Adeje and around Puerto Colon, one of the popular holiday destinations here in the Canary Islands!

Puerto Colón is a vibrant and modern marina located in Costa Adeje, on the southern coast of Tenerife. It's a key hub for tourism, situated within walking distance of popular resorts like Playa de las Américas and Playa del Duque. The marina itself is well-equipped, boasting over 200 moorings and numerous services for boats, including a fuel station and maintenance facilities. Beyond its nautical function, Puerto Colón is a bustling destination in its own right, surrounded by a variety of hotels, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Its lively yet more relaxed atmosphere, compared to some of its neighboring tourist giants, makes it a favored spot for families and those seeking a less frenetic holiday experience.

The area is most renowned for being the primary departure point for a vast array of boat trips and water activities. From here, visitors can embark on whale and dolphin watching cruises, as the waters off the coast of Tenerife are a special conservation area and a permanent home to pilot whales and other marine life.
