Khayman, the 3rd vampire to ever exist in the Vampire Chronicles, fledgling to the queen of the damned, Akasha herself. Khayman has had quite a journey and his story reflects that, especially in the queen of the damned novel, where we’re first introduced to him. Now he does make appearances in some of the follow up books and while that is always welcomed, I have to admit, he does become a forgettable character as these appearances become less frequent but let’s change that today and take a look at his entire life beginning with his origins as the Chief Steward of Kemet.
