The Fishing Village of La Caleta | Finally Dropping the Motorbike off to be Repaired | Our Next Car?

I finally decided I couldn’t wait any longer as the Triumph Bonneville had been sounding like it was about to break down at any moment. I booked it in for repairs at my local motorcycle mechanic at Bike Zone in Tenerife.

I was amazed at how large the garage was; full of Harley Davidsons, and also some Ducatis and other bikes. There must’ve been over 45 motorcycles and 10 cars or so there. They also have a number of cars and motorbikes for sale- including two that really interested me; a Jeep Wrangler (4.0 Petrol) and a Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe (I think!).

After that, Monika and I headed off to the upmarket fishing village of La Caleta, on the South East coast of Tenerife. It's just up the coast from the touristy areas of Costa Adeje, Las Americas etc. We stop for brunch at a great little restaurant called Bloom, and then go for a walk along the coast.

I then show mine and Monika’s favourite winter riding jacket from Garibaldi- they do this model for men and women and we very highly recommend it!

And we wrap it up with a Canadian speciality; Banana Liquor!

Gear for the Day:

Garibaldi Heritage Jacket (for men and women). This is a winter motorcycle jacket and is the warmest winter jacket I’ve tried- zero wind chill and 100% waterproof. It is superb.
