2024 Family Webinar Series: "Families as Partners" and NowWhat.vt.edu

Families of newly enrolled students are encouraged to learn more by watching our Family Webinar Series. This webinar will introduce you to our philosophy of "Families as Partners" in student success, and will provide tips on how to developmentally support your student during their transition to college. We will also review the "You're In... Now What?" new student checklist of next steps to keep your Hokie on track. The webinar concludes with Q&A.
We recommend that you review the New Student Checklist at NowWhat.vt.edu before viewing. The information at NowWhat.vt.edu is directed to your student, who is now primarily responsible for "being in charge" of knowing dates, deposits, deadlines, etc. All information is provided to your student via their @vt.edu email, which they should check daily.
