KENYA NATIONAL PRAYER BREAKFAST WOMEN'S CONVOCATION.

I joined H.E., the First Lady, Mama Rachel Ruto, during the Kenya National Prayer Breakfast Women’s Convocation, where Uganda’s First Daughter, Pastor Patience Rwambogo Museveni, was the Chief Guest. I reminded those present of the significance of women in the epoch of history.
1) In Genesis, the woman is the mother of all that is living.
2) In the time of Moses, five women were involved in preserving Moses’ life: Jocabed (his mother), Miriam (his sister), Pharaoh’s daughter, and the two midwives.
3) When the Israelites were entering Canaan, Rahab was involved in their gaining entrance.
4) Jesus came into the world through a woman, Mary.
5) In Revelation 12:1-5, the woman is a sign from heaven, a light day and night, and is adorned with a crown of twelve stars because she is in government.
I, therefore, called on women to take their rightful place and intercede for their families, nation, and Africa, following the great example of our Mother in the Nation, the First Lady, who has for years led and encouraged many to pray.
Pastor Patience reminded us of the redemptive purpose of Africa (Isaiah 19:19) and said, “God is moving in Africa, do we perceive it?” (Isaiah 43:18). She challenged women in leadership by referencing Daniel, a government official who understood the seasons, stood in the gap, and ensured the nation did not miss the hour of visitation. The sons of Issachar also understood the seasons. She called the nation to repentance and to adopt the posture of Daniel (praying) to unlock the new season.
