Free Trash Rescue CRT | Retro Gaming Symphonic WF203 TV | Is Funai Good?!

Описание к видео Free Trash Rescue CRT | Retro Gaming Symphonic WF203 TV | Is Funai Good?!

Today’s pickup is a curbside rescue retro gaming CRT – The Symphonic badged WF203 model from 2003, produced by Funai Electric.

Funai is far from your sought after Sony Trinitron Wega line, PVMs/BVMs, JVC D-Series or Toshiba CRTs. They are in a class of budget friendly mass produced Chinese CRT televisions that took over the market in the early to mid 2000s. Walmart and Target would typically sell these new in the box for maybe a couple hundred dollars.

They seemed to be literally everywhere, in everyone’s bedroom or livingroom at the time, mostly because they were cost effective and had a nice picture.

In this video, I go into detail on my thoughts on the Symphonic WF203 and how I got it mistakenly thinking it was a Sony Trinitron KV-20FS12 (Which is a lower end Wega model, but still a Wega nonetheless).

I don’t think they offer much to those that are devoted to the RGB HD Retrovision Component cable club, but perhaps it would be fun to mess around on one for an afternoon as long as it was free.

Please like or maybe sub if you want and I’ll try to keep making CRT gaming content for you.
