The “Jingle Cruise” debuted during the 2013 Holiday season, opening at Magic Kingdom on November 8 and Disneyland on November 12. It is an annual overlay of the Jungle Cruise in the Magic Kingdom and which ran until 2017 in Disneyland.

The “Jingle Cruise” returns to Magic Kingdom this year.

During the holiday season, the beloved Jungle Cruise experience is transformed into the “Jingle Cruise” — a festive-yet-familiar adventure from stem to stern!

The Jungle Navigation Company transported a large amount of holiday decor for its bases as the company's skippers are homesick during the holidays. These, “Jingle Cruise” started in the year 1935. However, the typical negligence and incompetence of the Company lead to mass amounts of this being lost throughout the jungle, namely by a cargo plane which missed its target. The pollution of holiday decoration resulted in makeshift festiveness in the jungle and its wildlife, an event reported on by Tallahassee Glover of The Daily Gnus.

Join the homesick Jungle Cruise skippers as they set out on a holly, jolly journey packed with silly shenanigans. The boathouse and beyond are decked out with merry décor that’s been mailed to the skippers or that they’ve created themselves. They’re even unwrapping a few holiday jokes to help everyone get in the spirit.
