History of Heart Failure
History of angina, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), heart attack, stents for heart disease, peripheral vascular disease (PVD), stroke, mini-stroke (TIA)
Familial hypercholesterolaemia
Carotid narrowing
Smoking
Type 2 Diabetes
Gestational diabetes
HbA1c 41–49 mmol/mol
BMI more than 30, or waist circumference ≥ 102 cm in males or ≥ 88 cm in females
Chronic Kidney Disease
New atrial fibrillation
Family history of death from heart attack or stroke at less than 50 years in a first-degree relative
Diabetes in a first-degree relative
