Three Microphone Recording Setup for Garage Band

Well here's another reminder to myself on how to record a podcast on the Mac, using GarageBand, with THREE microphones. Yes, we already covered two mics, now we've got three. This isn't that much harder, but golly, if you forget how, you'll want to watch this.

Plus we'll discuss an issue with exporting Mp3 or AIF from GarageBand and the volume mysteriously staying the same. So if you notice it isn't getting louder on export, toggle off the Auto Normalize option in GarageBand preferences. That tends to make everything louder, even though the preference implies it will make everything louder. Test for yourself, you'll hear a difference.
