some of the important information:
Passport Validity: A passport valid for at least six months beyond the date of entry is required to enter the UAE. The UAE government does not accept 12-page emergency passports for entry to the UAE. The UAE government also does not accept passports with the “X” gender marker for travel to, in, or through the UAE.

Rules of flying: find everything you need to know
* Arrive early.
* Know the cutoff time for checking bags.
* Know what to pack — and what not to pack.
* Don't pester the gate agent.
* Don't ask someone to watch your things.
* Keep your music/games/conversation to yourself.
* Keep your food to yourself.
* Recline politely, if at all.

Travel Essentials
* ID Documents: Carry valid identification documents to the airport.
* Tickets: Depending upon your airline's policy, bring a hard copy/soft copy of your air ticket.
* Boarding Pass: For seamless boarding, you must have your boarding pass

Documents for Dubai tourist visa
* Original Passport, at least 6 months validity.
* First and last page of your Passport (scanned colour copy)
* Passport size photograph with white background.
* Confirmed return tickets.
* Proof of hotel reservation.
* Bank statement.
A Guide to Proper Airplane Etiquette
* Be prepared. This is especially true at airport security.
* Greet the flight attendants.
* Don't hog the overhead bins.
* Be sensitive to your seatmate.
* Give the middle passenger a break.
* Don't bring stinky food on board.
* Think before you recline.
* Control the kids.
