Light Scenes, Not Shots. Wide & Tight Angles Without Moving Any Lights

Lighting wide angle scenes is one of the biggest challenges filmmakers and videographers face, because light stands and camera gear can quickly get in the frame. So if you’re wondering how to adjust lighting for wide and tight shots, instead of lighting for a single shot, it’s better to think in terms of lighting for a whole scene. That way you can move quickly on set to get your wides shots, mediums and tight close up shots. Yes, sometimes you have to do some adjustments for close up shots, but if you do it right, it will be minimal lighting changes if any at all. I cover using a manfrotto autopole and other techniques for hiding your lights. All shot on the Fujifilm X-T4, but you can do this with literally any camera like the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6k Pro or Sony a7siii.
