Predator Free Rākaumangamanga - Taking decades of pest control to the next level in Te Rawhiti

Predator Free Rākaumangamanga is a collaborative hapū driven project led by the Te Rawhiti 3B2 Ahu Whenua Trust, taking things from suppression, to elimination. With a predator proof fence, 80% of the area covered in native bush, and in close proximity to pest free islands, the biodiversity gains are massive.

Northland Regional Council is proud to support Predator Free Rākaumangamanga's mainland elimination efforts. This is part of the Predator Free Pēwhairangi Whānui programme, which is also funded by Predator Free 2050 Limited.
