I finally landed on a favourite EOS SLR, the EOS Elan 7! The Elan 7 is a perfect blend of modern and historic in a semi-pro body with all the features you like in a professional 35mm camera without the price tag. In fact, the Elan 7 is a hidden gem as more people go towards the 7e or 7n(e). However, with my main bodies tied up with Nikon and Minolta, having a limited kit in the EOS system is an excellent idea.
