The 2013 El Molino Pinot Noir was such a huge success that we had to get our hands on another one of their exceptional vintages. 2012 is going to fit the bill perfectly. Remember that El Molino is one of the oldest wineries in all of Napa Valley and their experience shines in a bottle that is creeping in on a decade of age.

The wine is really settling into its prime right now. Remember, the 2012 vintage in Napa was a great vintage for Cabernet, which means grapes like Pinot Noir were very ripe and concentrated. While in its younger years, the wine would have notes of bright fruit, now it has settled into a much more Burgundian style wine with secondary notes of smoke, spice, and earth.

It is an exceptional bottle of wine that really stands out from some of the other Pinot Noirs we have done recently. Drink it now as it is in perfect form!
