Suddenly, we put aside all MC cartridges and decided to stick with Shure MM cartridges as they keep giving us surprises.

For US$100, you can get a M91ED with new stylus and it can sound let king in this dollar range. Do look for youvinylmevinyl at youtube and we can found a few recordings using this cartridge. I will use the word "delightful" to describe this cartridge as it really can deliver MUSIC!

Because of the M91ED, we acquired a few V15 type III and put it difference new stylus and started to run them in. Even though they are not of original stylus, which has always been stated as legendary, in a budget of US$300, the V15 type III is just "WONDERFUL". Comparing with the M91ED, it gives more juice and more dynamic range with no disappointment of any kind at all. Music just keep coming.

One of the reason that MM cartridges like those from Shure can easily well perform because I am using old gear like Mcintosh C108 mono preamp and they have no hustle in pairing with any MM cartridge. They are just coming from the same era.
