Don't spend money on a bigger pump or filter until you add a Hayward skimmer. The pump your pool came with is up to the job, it is just choked off by the inlet ports, especially if you add a clamp on skimmer or pool vacuum restrictor in one inlet port.
I got the Hayward skimmer that comes with a jet outlet, it really gets the water in the pool moving.
