PITTSBURGH PENNSYLVANIA HOODS - Neighborhood Project Drive Through

Today we are driving around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and exploring their historically poverty stricken or more crime ridden areas. Pittsburgh is a western Pennsylvania city that was once an industrial powerhouse, famous for manufacturing and steel production. It's industrial legacy earned the city the moniker "The Steel City". However like most American cities it's heyday is decades removed as this city hit it's peak population of 676, 000 people in 1950 and has since withered down to 302,000 people where it stands today. Between 2010 and 2020 , the city lost 8% of it's population alone. We wanted to see why... so today we take a tour of the Historic Homewood section, then ride through some other notorious areas/housing projects of the city such as Homewood North Apartments, Spring Hill/City View and eventually making last stop at the Notorious Northview Heights Estates.
