2024 Nissan Xterra - NEXT GENERATION of Body-On-Frame SUV for US Market

Let's take a look how the new Nissan Xterra 2024 or 2025 model year could look like if Nissan decides to reveal 3rd generation of its body-on-frame SUV.

For the USA a truck based SUV Nissan Xterra was presented in 1999 and in 2005 it received the 2nd generation. But in 2015 it was discontinued. Poor fuel economy, declining sales, and mandated upgrades to safety and emissions were cited as reasons.

But the new Nissan Frontier gives a good chance to reveal the 3rd generation of Xterra, which could be a good rival for the off-road SUV in the US market, like 5-door Jeep Wrangler, Ford Bronco and Toyota 4Runner.
