Different forms of fertilizers play a vital role for better production and growth of wheat plants. If balanced fertilizers are used in time, we can take maximum yield from a field as compared to a field that lacks these nutrients. Ammonium sulphate fertilizer is one of the alternates of Nitrogen and Sulphur containing fertilizrs. Ammonium sulphate fertilizer that is imported from European countries is of better quality and performs well in our fields. But ammonium sulphate fertilizer that is make locally contains a lot of residue materials so does not give good results. ammonium sulphate 50 kg price is relatively higher that simple urea fertilizer but point is same, the quality is compromised in locally made ammonium sulphate. As such the idea of ammonium sulphate is not bad and also performs well in rice and some other crops, also improves the health and condition of soil for better production of crops in this soil, but contaminated material can not perform well in any field. So it is recommended that if ammonium sulpate of foreign company is available, then use it to take its benefits. But locally made ammonium sulphate of local companies can not be recommended to use in your fields.
Urea and Ammonium Sulphate are the two most common sources of Nitrogen. Nitrogen is the most important nutrient for proper growth and development of wheat crop. Without the use of nitrogen, it is very difficult to get maximum yield of wheat crop. Farmers are asking me about the usage of ammonium sulphate in their wheat crop this year. Ammonium sulphate price is slightly higher than urea fertilizer. Best approach of using nitrogenous fertilizer in wheat crop is to use Zabardast urea but there are some issues of its availability across the country. Urea fertilizer is made from the nitrogen that is collected from the air. As we know that air has the largest quantity of nitrogen that is 78 percent. But problem is that urea fertilizer has the tendency to evaporate. Its evaporation is fast in summer season but is quite lower in winter season. There is a solution of using urea fertilizer effectively. We can use both urea and ammonium sulphate fertilizer together by mixing them. In this way, we can stop the fast evaporation of nitrogen from urea fertilizer. Moreover, ammonium sulphate has some quantity of Sulphur in that makes it suitable for use in salt affected soils.
