On June 18, 2024, the U.S. Department of Labor Women’s Bureau is hosting “Gender-Based Violence and Harassment in Focus: A Summit to Create an Equitable World of Work” at the U.S. Department of Labor Frances Perkins Building from 9:00AM – 5:00PM EDT. This all-day Summit will focus on opportunities to end gender-based violence and harassment in the world of work. Marking the one-year anniversary of the release of the U.S. National Plan to End Gender-Based Violence, the Summit will convene workers, unions, employers, government representatives, worker advocates and other stakeholders who are working to prevent and address gender-based violence and harassment in the world of work at the national, state and local levels. Speakers and participants will discuss the importance of identifying, responding to, and preventing gender-based violence and harassment in the world of work.
