West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has halted the entry of goods-carrying vehicles entering Bengal from Jharkhand due to the floods in Bengal. This has caused a massive traffic jam near Maithon on NH-2. The entry of vehicles was stopped around 6 PM on Thursday evening, leading to long queues on the highway. Currently, the jam extends for about 10 kilometers.

पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने बंगाल में आए बाढ़ के कारण झारखंड से बंगाल में प्रवेश करने वाले मालवाहक वाहनों की एंट्री पर रोक लगा दी है. जिससे एनएच-2 पर मैथन के पास लंबा जाम लग गया है. गुरुवार शाम करीब 6 बजे वाहनों की एंट्री पर रोक लगी थी. जिसके बाद से एनएच पर वाहनों की लंबी कतार लग गई है. फिलहाल करीब 10 किमी तर जाम लगा हुआ है.
