Corktown, Old Town Neighbourhood in Toronto Canada | Urdu Vlog

In this walking tour, I will show you Corktown which is one of Toronto's older residential neighborhoods, nestled in the heart of downtown Ontario, Canada. It’s situated south of Shuter Street, north of the Gardiner Expressway, and flanked by Parliament Street to the west and the Don River to the east.

It comes under Old Town which is a charming neighborhood and shopping district right in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It holds the honor of being Toronto's first named neighborhood, earning its title by 1815, back when the original town of York was expanding. Locals back then started calling the old neighborhood "Old Town" and the newer area "New Town."

Today, Corktown & Old Town is still home to many buildings from the nineteenth century, giving it a unique historic vibe. The neighborhood's rough boundaries are Queen Street to the north from Church Street east to Parliament Street, Parliament Street south to Front Street, Front Street west to Jarvis Street, one block north to King Street, and Church Street north back to Queen Street.
