You should use E-tracks to provide a sturdy cargo securement system for trailers, cargo vans, moving vans, enclosed semi-trailers, and more. While horizontal semi-trailer E-track is the most popular choice, there are no hard and fast rules about which style you should use.

When using horizontal or vertical E-tracks, we recommend using them for different applications. Horizontal E Tracks can be mounted on the floor or bed of a trailer, as well as walls of trailers and vans. It has slots that run perpendicular to sides of the rail, and provide numerous tie-down points for cars or smaller vehicles. Vertical E tracks, also known as enclosed trailer E-Track, can support cargo of various sizes and heights, and can create a second level for cargo using shoring beam.
