How to make coffee in Bialetti Express moka pot (3 cup size). Recipes for Medium and Light roast.

MEDIUM ROAST
Coffee - 16 g
Water - 130 g
Brewing time (flow) - target 40 seconds or more
Grind size on Kinu m47 - 2.0
Comandante c40 - 13 clicks

MEDIUM ROAST (with paper filters)
Coffee - 15 g
Water - 130 g
Brewing time (flow) - target 40 seconds or more
Grind size on Kinu m47 - 2.4
Comandante c40 - 15-16 clicks

LIGHT ROAST (with paper filters)
Coffee - 12 g
Water - 130 g
Brewing time (flow) - target 60 seconds
Grind size on Kinu m47 - 1.7 - 2.0
Comandante c40 - 11-13 clicks

GRIND SIZE
Start with the grind size which is twice as small as sugar to the touch. Around 360 microns. But you will need to adjust it for every coffee anyway. It's just a reference, starting point.

Adjust the grind size so that the coffee is not watery. If it is - make it smaller next time. If coffee is too intense - make it bigger.
