The persona games from Atlus are some of my favorite games ever made. If it wasn't for Persona 4, I probably wouldn't be where I am today. That is exactly why this video was a difficult one to make. There was a lot of deliberation on whether or not an entire persona port mini retrospective was a video I would want to make, with how disappointed I was with the new releases. Ultimately I believe I have some things to say about the persona steam and modern console ports that this video is warranted. I play on pc and as I was making my way through, replaying each new school persona game, I was getting more and more disappointed. Persona 4 Golden on pc was fantastically done, Persona 5 Royal was less so, and Persona 3 Portable was something that hit me to my very core. Atlus Persona ports keep getting worse over time and I hope this isn't a trend we keep seeing. The issues should have been obvious with the shin megami tensei Nocturne HD port, but I was naïve. This is truly something that needs all of our attention.
