Stubby gas lenses for TIG torch

Stubby Pyrex clear glass gas lens kits for TIG torch, do they make a difference? In my experience trying them out I would say definitely yes! I’m new to TIG welding and I heard about these glass cup kits, and I found they were inexpensive so I decided to order a kit and try them out, I figured the difference would not be that noticeable, but after trying them I realized they do make a difference. I could use lass Argon gas and get cleaner better shielded welds and being clear it made it much easier to see what I was doing when welding, I don’t contaminate the Tungsten nearly as much now.
