Dragon Ball Super: Broly ushered unto us a beloved reimagining of one of the most divisive characters in the Dragon Ball franchise. But I feel much of the derision aimed towards the original incarnation of Broly is a bit misplaced due to the character's dumbing down in all of his appearances after the original 1993 film. So let's examine that original film and why, out of the original thirteen Dragon Ball Z movies, I feel it is one of, if not the best of the bunch.
