The Metrocentre Bus Rally is the biggest and best rally of the year! This event is normally held in May but due to covid restrictions, this was pushed back to Sunday 25th July. Now that restrictions have been lifted Go North East partnered up with the North East Preservation Trust who organize the rallies for a bigger and better event. They did this by opening their doors at their Riverside depot just down the road from the main event, to show off a few of their buses (I have done a septate video on this).

As always, the rally featured a selection of classic and modern buses for everyone to see and enjoy. It was nice to see a few unfamiliar buses appear at the rally such as Stagecoach with one of their Alexander Dennis Enviro 400MMC’s. As well there were a few trade stands selling arrange of buses and other bus related stuff.

Rallies like this would never happen if it wasn’t for the amazing people behind them. Just want to say thanks to everyone involved and attending the rally. Big thanks to the companies who spent their time bring their buses down. As well as everyone who is working hard behind the scenes keeping all the buses alive and making them look so good.
