AMD have gone on record and confirmed that the 29% IPC gains that were touted for Zen 2 are more for fringe situations, and won't be a general percentage gain across all workloads.

AMD's Ryzen 7 3700U processor has had several details and benchmarks leaked, and it looks awfully similar to that of the ryzen 7 2700U. Although its an engineering prototype, clock speeds,core counts and so on look identical, and sisoft sandra indentifies its gpu as a Vega 10 mobile part,. So is this simply a refresh, or are there changes which aren't being detected.,
