Udaipur is also known as Lake city of India, It is former historic capital of Mewar, it has palaces, lakes, surrounded with aravali range.

This was our first trip to Udaipur, We started our journey from Chittorgarh, then we traveled from Chittorgarh to Udaipur and this one is the 3rd episode of our udaipur series.

This video was shot on 27th August 2022, below are the activities we did throughout the day.

We had hired an auto for an entire day at Rs 2000 for sightseeing in Udaipur, usually they charge about Rs 1800 for 6 or 7 hours.

Jain Nashta Center - We had poha - Rs 20 per plate for breakfast, it is quite a popular shop in Udaipur.

Fateh Sagar lake - It was named after Maharana Fateh singh, one of the 7 beautiful lakes in Udaipur.

Moti Magri - The charm of this place is the bronze statue of Maharana Pratap along with his favorite Horse Chetak & the fateh sagar view from this place is so mesmerizing. It is located on a the hill.

Fateh Sagar Overflow Point - We were lucky to see the rare scene of overflowing of Fateh sagar lake, usually this water overflow can be observed during monsoon time.

Nataraj Restaurant - We had Veg Thali - Rs 300 per person unlimited food. They serve Rajasthani & Marwadi food.

Market in Hathi Pol - We saw many shops of Bandhni & Rajasthani Juttis (mojri).

Saheliyon ki Bari - This beautiful garden which has an ancient fountain, Lotus pool, built by Maharana Sangram Singh for the queen & their maids.

Shiv sagar - Located in Bapu bazaar, They serve homemade shakes & ice creams, we had Anjeer shake with Ice cream - Rs 60.

Jagat Niwas Palace Hotel - We had dinner here, Laal maas - Rs 675. Over all food at this restaurant is expensive. average food cost per person is around Rs 800 to Rs 1000. Despite such high cost weekends at this restaurant are full, once has to book in advance.
