We install a rebuilt 1959 General Motors "Detroit" Diesel 371 power unit to the 1917 Altman-Taylor sawmill at the Century Homestead. Sawmill runs great with lots of power (and lots of noise!). The sawmill has an 18 ft carriage, 3 headblocks, and 52" blade. The 371 develops 82HP @ 1800 rpm all day long. We have a Bobcat T190 and X331 to feed the mill.
