Broadspire is an insurance company that is hired by Stryker to talk to and help patients.

The intent is that if you need money to get the hip revised or you have—need funds for certain medications, Broadspire will assist by paying those bills.

However, Broadspire is also contacting patients directly and saying—saying to the patients that they should not hire lawyers and they should settle directly with Stryker through Broadspire. We urge you not to do that. You will be told by Broadspire or by others that settling the case without an attorney is simpler, faster, easier, and that you will get just as much money and you will not have to pay attorneys' fees.

We are concerned that you may settle your case without knowing all of your rights. I urge you to at least speak to an attorney about your case before you settle it so that you can see whether what you're being told by the company is accurate, and you can weigh your rights.
