If you're using sketchfab for thumbnails, these are the basic steps:
- make your skin model in blockbench but pose it BEFORE exporting as a .gltf file
- upload your model to sketchfab here: https://sketchfab.com/
- adjust the light source, environment, and post processing until it looks good
